We had this amazing drive through the estate with a guy named Kobus, who shared his deep knowledge of the area. The views were stunning, and we made a real connection with him in just an hour! !

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but honestly, it was still acceptable for what we experienced.

great facilities , but dining needs improvement

The facilities here were truly impressive, offering countless activities across the expansive property. I particularly enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the suite, which created a warm atmosphere during our winter stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. I also loved the local seafood served at dinner. it was fresh and full of flavor!

Although the dinner options were excellent, the breakfast spread felt a bit lacking in variety.

But while the spa wasn’t open all the time, the herb picking experience was fantastic! The fireplace in our room created such a warm ambiance, and the staff really knew how to make our stay feel special. The close connection to nature was just what we needed.

Staying here with my three grandkids was unforgettable! We loved exploring the stunning gardens and learning about various pumpkins. The private courtyard made for perfect family gathering moments. The leisurely farm tour added a unique touch to our trip.

We stayed 3 nights in a farmhouse suite. It was stunning—great attention to detail with a comfy bed and private bathroom. Loved the fireplace for cozy nights. The grounds are beautiful with gardening, a spa, and activities like cycling and canoeing. Breakfast and dinner were homemade, using farm produce, though dinner could be better. Staff were exceptionally friendly and always helpful.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free parking, seasonal outdoor pool, and complimentary welcome drink. Staff once helped me with a phone charger, which I remember fondly. Definitely come for the amazing ambiance! Can't wait to return for a weekend.

More seating options in dining areas would be appreciated.

babylonstoren is a beautiful spot with stunning gardens and fantastic activities. we loved the spa treatments and kayaking on the dam. the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. being part of the farm experience was truly special!

Easter weekend created a bustling atmosphere, leading to long queues for meals and activities. Dining options felt limited with only three menu choices each night, causing repetitiveness for longer stays. The spa had a slightly damp smell, and amenities like soap in bathrooms were lacking. The bread-making course didn’t meet expectations, as it involved only assembling toppings on pre-made bread. Morning coffee service was painfully slow, adding frustration to an otherwise enjoyable experience.
